IPL Foundation
IPL Foundation, the dedicated CSR arm of Indian Potash Limited (IPL), is committed to fostering holistic and sustainable development across India. The foundation works actively in the areas of preventive healthcare, education, natural resource conservation, rural development, rural sports, and agricultural research, with the core objective of improving the quality of life for underserved communities.
In pursuit of rural empowerment, IPL had launched the IPL Centre for Rural Outreach (ICRO) in collaboration with the National Productivity Council (NPC)—an apex body under the Ministry of Commerce & Industry— to promote productivity and knowledge-sharing in agriculture and rural livelihoods. The initiative aimed to empower farmers and rural youth by equipping them with agricultural expertise, entrepreneurial skills,
and access to modern practices.
Now, to consolidate and streamline all CSR efforts, the impactful work of ICRO has been integrated into the IPL Foundation, allowing for greater coordination, transparency, and long-term impact. This transition marks a strategic step towards expanding the scope of community upliftment programs and aligning them with national development goals and the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
